Vipchoyo Sound Factory Release: 19 August 2016
This album was mainly recorded at their home studio with some vocals tracked at Jackpot! Recording Studio in Portland, a testament to Vibrissae’s DIY aesthetic. The band also mixed their own tracks and created their own artwork, with mastering performed by Alan Douches.
“Electrifying post-punk.. rich and striking… an outstanding sonic detour, churning with restless agitation and a darker atmosphere… breaks down the door into Vibrissae’s captivating and varied world” – The Spill Magazine
“Haunting vocals, melodic guitars and synths… Think of Blonde Redhead meets Little Dragon with the occasional splashes of Depeche Mode and even Dream Theater” – The Revue
“Cripplingly lovely music” – Greg Wilson, DKFM Radio
“A sonically accomplished and stylistically varied batch of songs that travel between the electronic rock realm, synth-based landscape, and the guitar-centered shoegaze genre with assured ease” – The Big Takeover Magazine
… “Not Forever”
