Can they or can’t they build on their grandiose debut? That’s the exciting question that EINVIGI confidently answer with their second album “Yö Kulje Kanssani” and apparently play without pressure that it’s – yes, you read that right – a great joy. Away with the clichés of Finnish bands whose emotional spectrum ranges from melancholy to depression to suicidal tendencies, because EINVIGI light up the heart and soul with their rousing music – as cheesy as that may sound.

“Yö Kulje Kanssani” is an album whose roots in blackened native metal are still clearly recognizable, yet which rises far beyond anything conventional in this genre and sets very strong accents of its own. There is no doubt that this is a band that doesn’t want to be pigeonholed, but wants to play as freely as possible.
